The 24 year old has netted four times in ten Serie A starts and put in strong displays for Clarence Seedorf’s side and now Anfield boss Rodgers is now monitoring Taarabt’s progress at the San Siro with a view to making a potential summer bid for the former Tottenham man.
AC Milan may also look to sign the Moroccan with Seedorf’s side collecting six wins in the ten Serie A matches he’s started in.
Rodgers may feel he could do with further flair players in his armoury, especially with a Champions League push to prepare for, and Taarabt may have done enough to prove he is more than just a show-pony.
Taarabt is well known for his raw skill and talent to make things happen but is prone to vanishing during games and not giving enough in a defensive sense leading many to brand the QPR man as something of a ‘luxury’ player.
Liverpool’s interest, and indeed AC Milan’s, will depend greatly on just how much the Loftus Road side look to make from his sale.
