Old Trafford side plan major Parc des Princes raid.
Check in to Manchester United vs Sunderland
With Man United looking to appoint a permanent successor to sacked Scot David Moyes the Old Trafford side have already begun the process of identifying big-name targets they wish to sign this summer.
CaughtOffside understands that chief executive Ed Woodward is to make a major approach for a trio of PSG talents with the Ligue 1 side said to be fearful of punishment if they fail to meet UEFA’s FFP (Financial Fair Play) guidelines and as such are keen to trim their expansive squad in order to balance the books.

Man United are already known to be courting striker Edinson Cavani and are ready to stump up as much as £60m to land the former Napoli man with incoming boss Louis van Gaal looking to form a front three that would include Robin Van Persie and the PSG man with Wayne Rooney in a withdrawn role that he thrives in.
To make way for a fresh striking option Man United will listen to offers for Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez, both of whom are not happy with their lack of first team action.
Cavani is said to be unsettled at the Parc des Princes and the opportunity to cash-in on his services may be accepted by the Ligue 1 side.
The Uruguayan will have seen just how well countryman Luis Suarez is faring in the English top tier and could be keen on following suit.
Cavani scored 104 goals in three seasons in Naples before moving to the French Capital last summer.
Man United’s pursuit of fresh central midfield options and are said to be monitoring Yohan Cabaye, who only moved to PSG in January but is already said to be frustrated by his limited role in Laurent Blanc’s first team set-up.
28 year old French international Cabaye left Newcastle United for PSG in a £19m deal but of his 19 appearances to date 11 have been from the bench.
Man United are looking to re-shuffle their midfield pack and with the likes of Tom Cleverley, Darren Fletcher, Shinji Kagawa and loaned out Brazilian Anderson all fighting for their futures and a number of top class additions to strengthen the position have been mooted including most prominently Bayern Munich’s Toni Kroos.
Knowing just what Cabaye is capable of, with his proving Premier League pedigree, Man United are ready to offer £20m for the former Magpies man, a move that may just tempt the midfield schemer if he feels he is undervalued at PSG.
Louis van Gaal has also recommended that Man United make an offer for Dutch right-back Gregory van der Wiel as Man United look to find a more effective defender to fill the role with the likes of Rafael, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones failing to impress in the position this season.
£15m rated Van der Wiel has impressed since moving to PSG from Ajax in September 2012 but could be tempted by a move to join van Gaal and fellow countryman Robin Van Persie at Man United.
Man United are ready to spend freely in order to make substantial changes to a squad that severely under-performed this term and will look to not only re-capture their top four spot next term but will look to mount a genuine Premier League challenge and an outlay of £95m for this PSG trio will certainly help in that regard.
