Check in to West Bromwich Albion vs Liverpool

Liverpool are ready to make a late move for Southampton playmaker Adam Lallana according to Sports Direct News.

Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers will look to move for the 25 year old St Mary’s star if efforts to land Ukrainian Yevhen Konoplyanka fall through.

Lallana has been in great form this season and this has led to growing speculation that he could leave Southampton and his recent call-up to the England national team may well lead the player to believe he could make a move to a ‘bigger’ side and the possibility of a switch to Liverpool could well tempt the one club man.

The St Albans born midfielder is into his eighth season in the Southampton first team set-up, playing a key role in helping the south-coast side climb from League One to the top half of the Premier League.

Rodgers may well feel he could do with fresh creative midfield options and Lallana has more than proven himself at the highest level, scoring six Premier League goals this season as well as being Southampton’s leading assist maker.
