Rivalo remarks to SBR on current player grievance

12/16/2014 4:30:50 PM

Rivalo Sportsbook has commented to SBR on the player complaint posted yesterday.

In that complaint, a player claimed that he had a balance of €1200 confiscated. He maintained that he was fully verified and had passed the Know Your Customer (KYC) process, though after a random phone screening had his account closed.

The player stated that there were language barriers as both the representative who called him to conduct the random security audit as well as himself are not fluent in English.

Sportsbook Review followed up on the player’s complaint with Rivalo support.

Rivalo confirmed that indeed a security check was performed and that as a result of questions being failed the bookmaker was within their right to enforce the provision of their terms and conditions related to unauthorized account access. Rivalo believes that another sports bettor was behind the wheel in other words.

Rivalo also shared that the player’s country of origin undergoes higher screening levels.

The player’s only recourse now is to launch a complaint with the Government of Curacao, where the site is licensed under 247SportsInteractive B.V..

Rivalo players with feedback are asked to write to help@sportsbookreview.com.
