An LSbet Sportsbook (SBR rating C) player has submitted a complaint against the betting site with SBR. The player has claimed to have used LSbet for “a few weeks” and has made £556.02 in winnings. His trouble stems from the fact that he and a few friends allegedly placed similar bets on games. He has claimed that all of his account details are accurate and he passed the Know Your Customer (KYC) process.
Following his winning £556.02, LSbet lowered his wagering limits, which prompted him to ask for a withdrawal. He was required to send a photo of himself with his account number and signature on a piece of paper to confirm that he was the person controlling the wagering account. He obliged the request, but still had his account closed and winnings confiscated.
The player states that LSbet advised him that he was guilty of violating their terms and conditions, namely, the section on “Duplicate Accounts”, which reads as follows:
The player admits that he and an undisclosed number of friends shared picks, although he states that his computer was never shared or used for the log-in of another account. He states that customer support has only allowed for his initial deposit of £150 to be withdrawn, and has given no indication that they are willing to consider his dispute further, prompting him to file a sportsbook complaint with SBR.
SBR has asked the player to confirm if he might have knowingly or unknowingly circumvented wagering limits posted by LSbet by making bets in conjunction with his friends, and the context that the picks were shared in.
Sportsbook Review established LSbet with the rating of C on 12 November 2013.
LSbet sportsbook players with feedback should write to SBR.
