Swans considering January swoop for Joel Campbell.
Swansea City are considering a January raid on Arsenal and their dynamic young forward Joel Campbell, report the Mirror, as the number of clubs looking to take the out-of-favour Costa Rican international off of the Gunners’ hands continues to grow as we move closer to the window’s reopening.

Campbell has already been linked with a possible £8 million move to West Bromwich Albion today, and Alan Irvine’s side joined the likes of Inter Milan, Olympiakos and Galatasaray in reportedly holding an interest in a player who was superb for Los Ticos as they overachieved at the summer World Cup.
This report suggests that Swansea are not yet interested in a permanent deal for Campbell and would be interested in taking him to South Wales on loan, potentially leaving enough room for Campbell to have a long term future at the Emirates Stadium if he did impress whilst out on loan.
The former Olympiakos loanee has barely had a look in under Arsene Wenger since returning to the club from Greece in the summer and is seemingly starting to get itchy feet as he finds himself warming the bench at best – or, more often than not, out of the squad completely.
