The players who have moved to teams in the English top flight.
Despite the transfer market not officially opening until July 1 there have already been plenty of deals confirmed by the biggest sides in the Premier League.
Here is how an XI of the best might look.
GK – Lukasz Fabianski, Arsenal to Swansea City
Having played between the sticks as the Gunners won the FA Cup last season the Pole has earned a fine reputation and has left North London for the Liberty Stadium in search of more regular football.
RB – Bacary Sagna, Arsenal to Manchester City
Another departure from the Emirates Stadium now and a right-back who has become the latest to leave Arsene Wenger’s guidance for City, with a healthy wage packet the reward.
CB – Philippe Senderos, Valencia to Aston Villa
Well known to fans in England having spent time with Arsenal and Fulham and after a short spell in La Liga the Switzerland international is back with a switch to Villa Park.
CB – Joleon Lescott, Manchester City to West Bromwich Albion
Still one of the most expensive defenders of all time with the Citizens paying £22m to Everton for Lescott, but in recent years the 31-year-old’s reputation has dropped and he joined the Baggies on a free.
LB – Luke Shaw, Southampton to Manchester United
On Friday this 18-year-old became the most expensive teenager of all time when the Red Devils sanctioned a £27m deal for the left-back.
CM – Ander Herrera, Athletic Bilbao to Manchester United
During a busy couple of days of transfer business for United they also landed this £28.8m Spaniard, who brings a box-to-box approach to Louis van Gaal’s side.
CM – Fernando, FC Porto to Manchester City
City have been remarkably quiet in the market by their own extravagant admission, but they did secure this midfielder to help shore up their already impressive squad.
CM – Emre Can, Bayer Leverkusen to Liverpool
The Reds have also been busy as they prepare to return to the Champions League for the first time since 2009, with this 20-year-old arriving with a glowing reputation.
AM – Cesc Fabregas, FC Barcelona to Chelsea
Arguably the biggest deal of the summer so far, much to the disgust to fans at the Emirates their former captain has returned to England with their arch rivals the Blues.
AM – Joe Cole, West Ham United to Aston Villa
The Englishman’s journeyman career continues as Cole joins his fourth top flight club in Villa, hoping to end his career on a high after struggling at Upton Park last season.
ST – Rickie Lambert, Southampton to Liverpool
There has been something of an exodus from St Mary’s currently, with manager Mauricio Pochettino joining Tottenham Hotspur, Shaw heading to Old Trafford and this 32-year-old returning to his boyhood club in a £4m move.
