Old Trafford boss has a busy summer ahead.
Check in to West Bromwich Albion vs Manchester United
Man United boss David Moyes is ready to make good use of a reported £200m transfer war-chest with the Scot earmarking moves for five top quality summer additions according to the Daily Star.
Under-fire boss Moyes will have to hope that he is still in charge at Old Trafford by the end of the season and is likely to have to target new signings without the carrot of participation in the Champions League next term with Man United some 11 points off a top four spot.
Moyes will look to bring in Southampton teenager Luke Shaw to act as a long term replacement for soon to be out of contract Patrice Eva and sees FC Porto centre-back as a replacement for Nemanja Vidic who is similarly set to see his current Man United deal expire in the summer.
Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos is another target with the German international stuck in talks over an improve Allianz Arena contract, which may or may not be forthcoming.
Moyes wants Portuguese powerhouse William Carvalho to offer some much needed steel to the centre of his midfield and is also tracking Borussia Dortmund man Ilkay Gundogan, who would give the Man United manager a box to box presence.
One imagines that a number of players may be set for a Man United exit in order to help offer room for potential additions with the likes of Anderson, Tom Cleverley, Shinji Kagawa, Javier Hernandez, Ashley Young and Nani among those playing for their futures at the Premier League club.
