3/28/2013 6:47:31 PM – The player was credited a 100% bonus and began chipping away the rollover requirement. After completing turnover he requested a $ 600 withdrawal. Hours later an email was sent indicating that there was a problem with his P2P transaction.
The player claims he then followed up with the P2P company and was given a transaction receipt along with the exact time of day his funds were collected from “David Hall”.
He relayed this information to GoToHCC, but claims his emails were ignored. The player called the telephone number listed on the website—1-877-820-4678—and was told that the individuals who setup the website, alleged to be “Larry Gilbert” and “Paul Nice”, had their access to the website revoked for non-payment.
Sportsbook Review has yet to locate the individuals the player named as his point of contact. It is unknown how his information was obtained, though sharing of customer lists is common in Costa Rica. Many sportsbooks have poor security protocols compared to gaming sites in first-world countries: It is easy and relatively untraceable to steal customer lists for personal gain.
SBR advises players to beware of new websites as well as bonuses of 100%, particularly with no cap. Dodgy operators or users renting access to a PPH website will often dangle freebies or outlandishly high offers attempting to reel in their prey.
