Tottenham are considering a move for Swansea City forward Michu as White Hart Lane boss Tim Sherwood looks to take advantage of any uncertainty that may exist at the Liberty Stadium side following the sacking of boss Michael Laudrup according to Sports Direct News.

The South Wales side spent just £2m to sign the cultured Spaniard back in July 2012 and Michu certainly delivered the goods in his first campaign at the club, netting 22 goals in all competitions, but his second season hasn’t been as effective and the 27 year old may well consider his options at the end of the current campaign.
Sherwood may well feel that Michu could offer his Spurs side more of a cutting edge up front and the former Celta Vigo and Rayo Vallecano man would probably jump at the chance of a move to the North London club, a move that would of course become all the more enticing if Tottenham were to secure a Champions League berth for next term.
Swansea City won’t want to lose Michu but may struggle to keep hold of some of the additions brought in by their former boss, who was clearly a well known figurehead that would have been one of the chief reasons for some signings to consider a move to the Premier League side.
